Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, today announced an increase in its performance with the sales of 113 cars in February, a growth of 95 percent in comparison to sales of 58 units recorded in the same month last year.
"Our steady growth in India is reflected once again in our sales performance last month that has almost doubled when compared to February 2008. To gain additional market share we are looking forward to introducing new models and expanding our dealerships network to mini-metro cities this year", said Benoit Tiers, Managing Director of Audi India.
Audi's model range in India comprises the new A4, A6, A8, Q7, TT and R8. It has at present twelve dealerships across the country.
