 "Bajaj Corp Q1 profit jumps 25% to Rs 47.01 cr")
FMCG firm Bajaj Corp today reported 24.96% increase in stand alone net profit at Rs 47.01 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2013.
The company had posted a stand alone net profit of Rs 37.62 crore during the same period of previous fiscal, Bajaj Corp said in a filing to the BSE.
Company's stand alone income from operations stood at Rs 170.04 crore in the April-June quarter, compared to Rs 138.04 crore during the same period last year.
The company's shares were trading at Rs 244.75 apiece on BSE during the afternoon trade, up 2.25% from their previous close.
