Industrial Systems Group (ISG), a Bangalore-based unit of BHEL, has bagged its largest direct order worth Rs 293.47 crore from NTECL, a joint venture of NTPC and TNEB, to set up an in-plant coal handling unit on turnkey basis at the 3x500 Mw Vallur thermal Power Project.
This project involves design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of mechanical, electrical equipment and automation as well as related civil and structural works for the in-plant coal handling system, a statement issued by the company said.
The project is slated for completion in 32 months.
ISG is executing several coal handling and ash handling plants for thermal power plants.
