Goldwin Healthcare Pvt Ltd, which manufactures and sells Cloud 9 energy drinks, is set to enter the soft drinks, juices, mineral water and soda business. Goldwin is a Shree Jalaram Group company, headquartered in Mumbai, which has diverse interests in segments such as healthcare and mobile gaming.

“We will launch caffeine-free soft drinks, juices, soda and mineral water in March this year. We will first launch these products in Mumbai and immediately after, we will go for a national spread,” Jayesh R Joshi, Group CEO, Goldwin Health Care, told Business Standard. All the products will be launched as a sub-brand of Cloud 9. The company will launch the soft drinks and soda in tin cans of 200-330 ml. Mineral water will be in a premium category, at Rs 30 per litre.

All the juices will be 100 per cent natural, said Joshi. “Initially, we will launch juices in apple, mango, orange and lemon flavours. Besides, we will launch an Aloe Vera juice, a special juice for women, first-of-its kind in India,” he adds.

The company will manufacture all these products at its Pune facility, spread over 27 acres, where it makes the energy drink. It has already set up the required machinery. Joshi declined to divulge any investment figures, citing policy constraints.
