Dabur OnQuest hopes to get CAP accreditation

"We are expecting to get accreditation from CAP during initial months of next year which will enable us to initiate for acquisition or merger in European and American markets so as to have presence in these markets," Dabur OncQuest Head (Diagnostics) Vivek Trikha told reporters here today.    

It is necessary to get accreditation from CAP if any company wants to go for M&A, he said.     

At present, the company has presence in Nepal and Sri Lanka. Having consolidated position in Molecular Diagnostic field, the company is now looking to launch its diagnostic services for HIV and Hepatitis within next couple of months.     

"We are planning to introduce our services in HIV and Hepatitis whereby we would undertake confirmatory tests on patients," he said.     

Accredited by National Accrediation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, Dabur OneQuest laboratory is fully equipped with molecular technology allowing for rapid advancement in the complex field of proteomics, genomics, and bio-informatics.     

The company has also tied up with 140 hospitals including Apollo, Ganga Ram, PGI for offering its Molecular Diagnostic services in the country.    

It has four centres in Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and  Amritsar.
