| According to Bajaaj, chairman, Lerch Bates India the joint venture will be one of the first specialised consulting firms. It will be able to act as an independent body to manage the process of determining an optimum solution for the needs of vertical transportation in terms of technology, specification and commercial aspects previously was done by the elevator companies. |
| "As the construction sector seeks to attain global standards, the time is right for a specialised consulting company to advise clients on their choice of vertical transportation systems," he added. |
