Everest to expand distribution network

With an aim to achieve the sales turn over target of Rs. 1,000 crore by the next FY 2010-11, Everest Industries Ltd (EIL), one of the country’s fastest growing building solutions companies, is planning to expand its distribution network by adding 1,000 new retail points on its network in the current FY 2009-10.

Presently, the company is selling its products through 6,000 retail points across the country. The company has plans to expand its distribution network upto 7,000 retail points by the end of current FY 2009-10, company sources told Business Standard.

Everest expanded its distribution network from 4,502 retail points in FY 2007-08 to 5,908 in FY 2008-09, with 31.2 per cent rise.

Moreover, the company has also plans to increase its export. The company, which had an export of Rs. 30 crore in FY 2008-09, is expecting an export of Rs. 45 crore in the current FY 2009-10.
