Kishore Biyani-led Future Retail posted a profit after tax of Rs 14 crore in the second quarter of current financial year as against a loss of Rs 8 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous financial year,
The finance cost declined by 22 per cent during the quarter at Rs 135 crore as against Rs 172 crore in Q2FY15.
The company's net sales went up 23 per cent at Rs 3,049 crore in Q2FY16 as compared to Rs 2,485 crore in Q2FY15.
The company posted a same store sales growth of 10.4 per cent in value retail, while for 4.2 per cent in home retail.
