GAIL aims transmitting 118.2 mcm gas a day in FY12

State-owned gas utility GAIL India has set a target of transmitting 118.2 million cubic metre of natural gas per day in 2011-12, the company said today.
The target for transporting natural gas was set in the annual performance MoU the company signed with the Oil Ministry today, GAIL said in a press statement here.
The MoU was signed by Oil Secretary S Sundareshan and GAIL Chairman and Managing Director BC Tripathi.
For the 2011-12, GAIL has set a target of marketing 85.5 million standard cubic metre per day of gas and production of 422,000 tonne of polymers and 1.35 million tonne of liquid hydrocarbons.
