Hero MotoCorp Q3 net up 43% to Rs 613 cr

Hero MotoCorp, the company that recently seperated from Honda group after a 26-year old joint venture, posted a 43% rise in net profit for the third quarterm ended December 31, 2011, at Rs 613 crore.

The net profit for the corresponding quarter was at Rs 429 crore.

Total Income has increased 17% to Rs 6,108 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 5,224 crore for the same quarter a year ago.

At 1535 hours, the shares of the company were trading up by 1.28% at Rs 1,881 per share on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
