Hindustan Zinc mulls bonus, stock split

Hindustan Zinc Ltd informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today that its board of directors woud meet on January 19 to consider an issue of bonus shares and sub-division of existing equity shares of Rs 10 each.

The board would also consider the unaudited financial results with limited review for the the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.

The shares of Hindustan Zinc were trading up 3.44 per cent in a choppy market today. The shares hit an intra-day high of Rs 1,415.75 during morning trade, with the stock at Rs 1,383 currently.
