Pre-placement offers at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) have more than doubled this year to 35. Last year the institute had received 14 PPOs.
Corporates such as Colgate Palmolive, Goldman Sachs, GCPl, Flipkart, CEB etc, have already released PPOs this year, said the institute in a press announcement.
“Summer Internship is an important and integral part of the Post-Graduate Programme at IIFT. This is demonstrated by their good performance in Summer Internship which is a key parameter for recruitment for many esteemed organizations," said Surajit Mitra, Director, IIFT.
Pre placement offers have been steadily flowing in at institutes. IIM Bangalore, has already received over 40 pre-placement offers (PPOs) compared to a total of 93 at the end of last year. Indian Institute of Management Udaipur had 25 companies at its campus for summer placements.
