Hyderabad-based IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited has received a letter of award (LoA) for the execution of an engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contract at Dighi Port in Maharashtra. The contract value is Rs 168 crore, according to a company filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The contract involves the construction of a multipurpose berth, development of a backup area including the construction of utilities. The company said it has received the LoA from from IL&FS Maritime Infrastructure Company Limited(IMICL) on behalf of Dighi Port Limited. It has to complete the project in 545 days from the date of notice to proceed, it said.
