Now, you don't need to carry ticket printouts to enter airports

Formal order is yet to be issued, airlines have been charging Rs 50-100 for e-ticket printouts

You will no longer have to carry ticket printouts to enter airports. The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security has decided to allow soft display of ticket on laptop, tablets, smartphone at the entry point of the airport.

A formal order is yet to be issued but a decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of airlines and Civil Aviation Ministry officials recently.

Passengers will still have to carry their identity cards to enter the airport. Airlines have been charging Rs 50-100 for e-ticket printouts and ministry had received complaints in this regard.
