IL&FS Engineering bags Rs 675 cr housing project

Project is to be completed in 39 months. It has two high rise towers with total built-up area of 28,22,134 sq ft

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd today said it has bagged a contract for building a high-rise residential project amounting to Rs 675 crore.

"IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Neelkamal Realtor Tower Private Ltd for construction of 'Orchid Heights', a high rise residential project at Byculla in Mumbai," the company said in a filing to BSE.

"Being a very tall structure, it opens up the market for the company in this segment for such high rise towers not only in Mumbai but all over India," it said.

The project is to be completed in 39 months, it said.

"The timeline for committed scope of finishing, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing work shall get decided during the course of execution which will further enhance the contract value," it added.

The project has two high rise towers with total built-up area of 28,22,134 sq ft.
