Jaiprakash Hydro posts net loss of Rs 25 cr

Jaiprakash Hydro Power has posted a net loss of Rs 25.52 crore for the fourth quarter of 2009 financial year, the company said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today.

The company's net sales also went down 6.31 per cent at Rs 60.81 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 64.91 crore.

The company has recommended a dividend of Re 0.75 per share (7.5%) amounting to Rs 36.83 crore, the company said.

The company shares were trading at Rs 41.65, up 1 per cent in the late noon deals on the BSE.
