The Kandla Port Trust (KPT) Board will decide on price bids for the construction of four new dry cargo berths at the cost of Rs 755 crore on September 15. Price bids of the three bidders which had submitted them namely IMC Ltd, Alpha Vinimay and Mundra Export Ltd, an Adani group company, were opened on September 9, officials of KPT said.
According to KPT officials, four new dry cargo berths will be constructed on Built Operate and Transfer (BOT) and revenue sharing basis, which will become functional by September 2011.
