Lanco Infratech today said its consolidated net profit rose by 26 per cent to Rs 113.3 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010, over the same period last year.
Total income rose to Rs 2,440 crore for the January-March quarter from Rs 2,044.5 crore in the same period previous fiscal, Lanco Infratech said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
For the year ended March 31, 2010, the company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 458.5 crore, up 63.57 per cent over the same year-ago period.
Operating power capacity more than doubled to 1,349 MW, the filing added.
The company's total operating and under construction power portfolio stands at 9,300 MW.
Shares of Lanco Infratech were trading at Rs 62.30 on the BSE, up 2.55 per cent from previous close.
