Lufthansa Cargo to use IBS' solution

IT solutions provider to the global aviation industry, IBS Software, has entered into a contract with Lufthansa Cargo AG, the airline cargo service provider of the Lufthansa Group, for the implementation of iCargo solution. The solution will manage the airline's entire air cargo movement worldwide. The contract is one of the largest IT system deals by the Lufthansa Group. Once implemented, iCargo will have a user base of over 4,000 staff members and will interface seamlessly with a host of other system applications within the IT landscape of the airline, a release said.
