Made-in-India Baleno launched in Japan

Maruti intends to export the premium hatchback, launched in India last year, to 100 countries in coming months

Suzuki Motor Corporation, the parent company of Maruti Suzuki, has launched the 'Made in India' Baleno in Japan on Wednesday. Maruti intends to export the India-made Baleno to 100 countries in the coming months.

The premium hatchback that Maruti launched in India last year was first exhibited at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015.

Baleno is manufactured only in India at Maruti Suzuki's Manesar facility in Haryana. Since its launch, Maruti Suzuki has sold over 38,000 units of Baleno cars in domestic market.
