Mahendra Singhi joins Dalmia Bharat

Prior to this Singhi worked with Shree Cement

Mahendra Singhi has joined Dalmia Bharat, a part of the Dalmia Group, as Group Chief Executive Officer (Cement) after a 19-year stint in Shree Cement.

With a total experience of 36 years in the cement sector, Singhi has been working with Shree Cement as its Executive Director before joining Dalmia Cement, the city-based cement maker said in a statement.

"Singhi is credited with playing a significant role in his previous organisation towards growth, fostering a professional family culture and infusing a high level of happiness quotient," it added.

A well-known industry figure, Singhi is a chartered accountant and holds degrees in Law and Science.

"I am delighted at the opportunity to be part of Dalmia Cement as it embarks on the next phase of its growth and seeks to realise its immense potential ...I am honoured to be one of the leading members of this organisation," Singhi said.

Dalmia Group has 17 million tonnes (MT) cement-making capacity now and post-completion of the ongoing expansions, it will go upto 22 MT.
