Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra today reported a 14.85 per cent growth in its total automotive sales in April at 23,004 units compared to 20,030 units in the corresponding period last year.
Domestic sales during the month stood at 22,617 units as against 19,392 units last year, up 16.63 per cent, the company said in a statement.Exports during the month stood at 387 units compared to 638 units in the same month last year, down 39.34 per cent. Sales of utility vehicles grew by 36.04 per cent at 18,447 units as against 13,560 units in the year-ago period.
Three-wheelers sales, however, decline by 11.10 per cent at 2,972 units compared to 3,343 units in the corresponding period last year. Mahindra-Renault's sedan 'Logan' recorded 67.89 per cent decrease in sales at 550 units in April this year compared to 1,713 units in the same month last year.
