Media firm Network 18 Media & Investments today said its consolidated net loss stood at Rs 36.35 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.
The firm had a net loss of Rs 25.98 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, Network 18 Media & Investments said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Revenues rose to Rs 226.5 crore for the latest quarter, against Rs 138.6 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
The results are not comparable due to the scheme of arrangement between BK Fincap, Jagran TV (JTV) (now known as IBN18 Media & Software) and IBN18 for the acquisition of IBN7 channel business from JTV and the merger of BK Fincap into IBN18, the filing said.
Shares of Network 18 Media & Investments today settled at Rs 96.65 on the BSE, up 0.62 per cent from previous close.
