Bio-informatics Institute of India (BII), has introduced a one-year diploma programme in three disciplines, viz.Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics and Biomedical Informatics.
The institute claims the courses would provide student wider opportunities to build careers in various industry segments, like pharma, healthcare & IT industries. There is a need for a multi-disciplinary course in bio-informatics in India, a release stated.
