PFC, S Kumars Q1 results

State-run Power Finance Corporation (PFC) on Wednesday reported a net profit of Rs 296.30 crore for the first quarter ended June 2008, a 4 per cent decline over the year-ago numbers. Total income rose to Rs 1,441.60 crore in the quarter from Rs 1,145.81 crore in the same period a year ago.

S Kumars Q1 profit rises 29%

S Kumars Nationwide has posted a rise of 29.14 per cent in its net profit for the quarter ended June 2008 at Rs 55.09 crore compared with Rs 42.66 crore in the previous corresponding quarter. Net sales rose to Rs 533.92 crore against Rs 378.85 crore during the period, up 40.93 per cent.
