PVR expects full recovery in the March quarter with a slew of big-ticket Bollywood movies set to be released as moviegoers venture out of their homes more.
John Abraham-starrer Satyamev Jayate 2, Salman Khan’s Antim: The Final Truth, 83 that Ranveer Singh and Deepika, Shahid Kapoor-starrer Jersey, and Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, among others, are set to be released in the coming months.
“At present, occupancy is hovering around 40-odd per cent, but during Sooryavanshi it was higher,” Gautam Dutta, chief executive officer of PVR, told Business Standard.
Adding that 72 per cent of its entire capacity is at 100 per cent. The film exhibition major is currently experimenting with gaming and received a good response.
