Rajesh Exports has posted 10.72 per cent growth in its net profit to Rs 18.66 crore as against a net profit of Rs 16.86 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, according to the unaudited results of the company.

The increase in the net profit is primarily due to the company getting better margins as compared to the corresponding quarter, the company said in a release.

The company's revenues for the quarter stood at Rs 1,512.73 crore, a rise of 28.95 per cent as against Rs 1,173.14 crore for the corresponding quarter in previous financial year-ended June 30, 2005.

In a press release, the company attributed the strong growth seen in revenues to the substantial increase in export of designer jewellery.
