Chennai-based enterprise software company Ramco Systems focusing on enterprise cloud platform, products and services, after making its services available through the erstwhile Google Glass, is now planning to launch its solutions accessible through Apple Watch.

The company is ready with the option for the wearable device and would launch it once the watch is launched, said a senior management official from Ramco Systems.

Speaking about the company's activities in the wearable and hands free computing, Virender Aggarwal, Chief Executive Officer, Ramco Systems said, "Right now the focus is to release the functionality on the Apple Watch. The moment it is available in India, we will be able to demonstrate it. May be a month from now, we would be able to do it."

It may be noted that the company has earlier launched the services customised for Google Glass. Google has stopped the Google Glass project and is expected to release a new version.

"So for the moment we have halted and we are waiting for the release from Google Glass team. It is expected to come with many more features," he said. He added that the company has downloaded the development kit from Apple earlier and is ready for the Watch now.

The company, which has its presence in ERP solutions and aviation, is currently focusing on HR software and plans geographical expansion in near future for growth, he said.

The biggest growth for the company in the last fiscal year was in HR software and going forward also it is betting on growth from our HR software. This year for the whole year HR revenue growth was 113%. Compared to the same quarter last year, it grew by 167%.

"So overall HR has been a blockbuster success for us and we have also found global multinationals taking interest in our HR products. We are betting on our HR product as the growth driver for the company, followed by aviation," he said.

Currently, the aviation software business is about 35% of the overall business, ERP is around 42% and the HR software is about 20%, he said.

The HR business is expected to grow four to five% in its total revenue. From 20% of its total business now, it should grow to 25% of the total business this year. The segment has tremendous growth potential. The company currently sell HR products to all countries in Africa, Middle East, India and Asia Pacific excluding Japan and Korea. It has also market in Australia and New Zealand where it offers local pay-rolls in both the countries.

The company is planning to launch its HR software in US in June, this year, after complying with the local statutory regulation. It would launch the product in Europe next year, where it need some preparation considering the fragmented nature and different languages in the region.

"We will be offering Chinese in two three month's time. We hope to go live with a customer in China before August, followed with Spanish. Our main foray this year will be US, next year we will be Europe. In Europe, we will pick up English speaking countries first and France," said Aggarwal.

At present, its main growth and revenue are from Middle East and Africa, which is 26% of the business, Asia Pacific is 21%, India 28% and US is about 20%.

The company is expecting growth in Asia Pacific region, China and Australia. In US, considering the launch is during this year there would be orders coming in this year, but the impact in revenue would be visible next year, he added. The company expects that in 2016-17, US would be the top market in its business.
