RIL open to CAG audit

Reliance Industries today said it is “ready and open” to scrutiny by any government agency for the expenditure incurred on development of gas fields, where Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has not been able to complete audit since 2007 for want of more information.

The readiness to subject its about Rs 45,000 crore costs incurred on development of KG-D6 gas fields to scrutiny was communicated at a meeting convened by the Petroleum Ministry on the issue of auditing books of private operators by CAG.
