SAIL records 20% growth in steel production in Aug
Steel giant Steel Authority of India (SAIL) today said it has registered 20 per cent growth in steel production in August over the year-ago period.
"The company's August sales is up 20 per cent year-on-year basis," SAIL Chairman S K Roongta said here.
In July, the state-run steel producer had registered 14 per cent growth in its steel production to over 1 million tonnes from the year-ago period.
