India's largest public sector bank, State Bank of India (SBI) today reported 10.18 per cent rise in Q2 net profit for the quater ended September 30, 2009. The bank reported a porift of Rs 2,490 crore for the as against Rs 2,260 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
According to a release issued by SBI to the BSE, total income grew 18.93 per cent from Rs 17,910 crore in Q2FY09 to Rs 21,300 crore in Q2FY10.
