Telecom To Drive Asia-Pacific It Spends : Gartner

The telecommunication sector would drive the Asia Pacific information technology spending in 2002 which is expected to grow at six per cent to surpass $258 billion, IT and communication analyst firm Gartner said today. This will be a 5.8 per cent increase from 2001.

India also places higher priority on spending on enhancing corporate security and network infrastructure.
