Texmaco sees a dip in Q4 net profit

Texmaco Ltd has reported a 96.92 per cent drop in net profit for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2010-11 to Rs 84.94 lakh, against Rs 2760.38 crore during the same period during the last financial year.

The company’s net sales for the period also dropped 98.94 per cent to Rs 282.14 lakh, as against Rs 26736.77 lakh during the corresponding period last year. Meanwhile, for the financial year ended on March 31, the company’s net profit dropped 98.71 per cent to Rs 1198.85 lakh, as compared to Rs 93188.56 lakh during the last fiscal.

For the year 2010-11, its net sales too dipped 91.61 per cent to Rs 780.80 lakh, as against Rs 9304.48 lakh during 2009-10.
