Titan plans more than 20 stores in Gujarat

After the success of 15 retail stores in the state, Titan Industries has plans to open more than 20 retail stores in Gujarat. The flagship stores of Titan, called World of Titan, will be launched in cities like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Vapi, Gandhidham and Jamnagar to name a few.

With an investment varying between Rs 50 to 75 lakh, the stores will be launched by the end of the financial year 2008-09. "The World of Titan showroom provides access to innovative and stylish Titan products featuring watches from Titan, Nebula, Raga, Sonata, Fastrack, Xylys, Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss. We are planning to launch more than 20 stores in various cities of Gujarat by the end of this financial year," said Ajoy Chawla, vice president and global business head, Titan & Retail, on the sidelines of the launch of Raga Diva, an exquisite range of watches for women, at the World of Titan showroom in Ahmedabad.

"At Titan, launching collections is a continuous process and we plan to launch around 100 models of watches this season at the World of Titan showrooms.The showrooms promise an evolved shopping experience with a world-class retail ambience, offering personalised interaction with the customer and makes the entire buying experience satisfying for every occasion," added Chawla.

The showroom network is also supported with a full-fledged watch care centres and offers value added services like gift vouchers, special gift packages and extended maintenance guarantee.
