UTV Software gets High Court nod for merger

Media and entertainment firm UTV Software Communications today said the Bombay High Court has approved the proposed merger of UMP Plc and UTV Motion Pictures (Mauritius) with itself.

"The company have received on January 14, authenticated copy of order made by the Bombay High Court dated January 8, 2010, sanctioning the scheme of arrangement relating to UMP Plc, UTV Motion Pictures (Mauritius) Ltd and the company, UTV Software said in a  filing to the BSE.
