VVF to augment capacity at Kutch unit by 70 per cent

| VVF's plant production capacity of soap in Kutch is 40,000 tonne per annum which the company is scaling to 60,000 tonne by next fiscal. |
| The market turnover of the company reached Rs 650 crore in 2005-06 which is likely to grow by Rs 1000 crore in 2006-07. |

| The company has large integrated oleochemicals complex at Sion in Mumbai, recently commissioned fatty alcohols plant at Taloja, specialised soaps plant at Navsari, a toilet soap manufacturing plant spread over 70,000 sq m is located at Kutch, personal care products manufacturing facility at Daman. |
| The company also has its manufacturing / distributing facilities at Jabel Ali FZ in Dubai, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It also exports large quantities of Oleochemicals and soaps to many countries in the world. |
| "We are planning to set up a soap factory in Himachal Pradesh this year. We are also venturing into the international market of innovative body wash and body lotions," Jindal said. |
