As per information received by government, 30 Keralites arrived in Delhi today by an IAF aircraft while 21 were reported to be safe at Pokhara, Joseph told reporters here.
However, he said out of three doctors from the state on a tour to Nepal, whereabouts of two were still not known. On chief minister Oommen Chandy's instructions, a control room has been opened at Kerala House, New Delhi, the minister said, adding there was no cause for anxiety.
The state government has also made arrangements for the returnees to stay at the Kerala House, New Delhi, he added. As all roads were damaged, rescue operation was possible only through air, he said.
Steps have already been taken to bring home those stranded with the assistance of Indian Air force, Joseph said.
