The cremation of Kamla Advani, wife of veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani, will be held at Nigambodh Ghat in the national capital on Thursday evening.
According to sources, the cremation procession will start from Prithviraj Road residence of Advani at 3 pm.
Condoling the demise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had yesterday said Kamla Advani was a 'pillar of strength' in the veteran leader's life.
"I recall my many interactions with Kamla Advani ji. My thoughts are with the Advani family in this hour of grief. May her soul rest in peace," Prime Minister Modi tweeted.
Kamla Advani passed away at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here last evening due to a heart attack. She was 83 years old.
The wife of senior BJP leader was admitted to AIIMS earlier in December last year due to health complications.
Kamala Advani, who was in her eighties, is said to have been suffering from age-related problems.
