The minimum temperature dipped further to 6.6 degrees Celsius in the national capital this morning, a notch below normal, even as moderate foggy conditions delayed 24 trains.

The visibility was recorded at 400 meters at 8.30 am both at Safdarjung and Palam, said a Met department official.

According to a senior Railway official, 24 trains were running late while five trains were rescheduled.

The Met office has predicted mainly clear skies for the day.

"The skies will be mainly clear. The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 23 degrees Celsius," the weatherman said.
