 "Saradha chit fund scam: Matang Sinh's wife arrested")
Former union minister Matang Sinh's estranged wife Manoranjana Sinh has been arrested in connection with her role in the Saradha Chit fund case.
Entrepreneur Santanu Ghosh has also been arrested from Kolkata in connection with the case.
The Central Board of Investigation (CBI) had earlier carried out searches in 19 locations in West Bengal and Odisha in connection with the multi-crore chit fund scam.
Other than CBI, Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Income Tax department are probing the infamous Saradha chit fund scam of West Bengal in which people were duped of at least Rs 2,500 crore worth investments.
