Rumbling of train engines took Prime Minister Narendra Modi down the memory lane as he recalled his childhood days as a tea seller at railway platform in an emotional entry in the visitor's book of Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) guesthouse here.

Modi jotted down the nostalgic feelings, which were evoked during his night stay at the guest house, in the visitor's book.

"Since childhood, I was associated with trains, railway stations and compartments. I am staying at this DLW premises since Friday and its surrounding has reminded me of my childhood," Modi wrote.
