Quality-driven companies succeed in fulfilling the changing customer demands and their changing market share does not go down in adverse socio-economic conditions.
 
This was stated by Suresh Semwal of Think Inc, while addressing a workshop organised by the Confederation of Indian industry (CII) at its state office in Lucknow.
 
The one-day long workshop titled "Target Setting and Quality Focus" was organised under OCEAN 2006-07 (HR Related Learning Platforms in Northern Region).
 
Its objective was to set quality goals, focus on process-oriented goals, discover instant solutions leading to permanent solutions, radical quality process and quality improvement strategies.
 
The workshop was attended by managers from sectors such as rubber processing, engineering, retail and petrochemicals, etc from area in and around UP.
 
The participants also included faculty and students from various management institutes across the state.
 
Its main purpose was to help participants to enhance their abilities in areas which will help them personally and professionally.
 
The lectures by Semwal included audio-video clippings, written exercises, role-plays and brainstorming sessions. Semwal ensured effective learning by seeking active participation from the participants.
