| The launch of IMTF follows the Indian CEOs' technology mission to Germany in June 2006. The team had gone to explore opportunities for joint technology development and strategic R&D initiatives between German universities and technical institutes, and Indian machine tool companies. |

| Commenting on the launch of IMTF, C P Rangachar, president, IMTMA said, "IMTF is intended to serve as a gateway for leading suppliers of machine tools and controls from Germany for strategic alliances with Indian manufacturers." |
