The foundation stone for the proposed Rs 350 crore Gujarat science city project, to be set up on 500 acres of land on the Gandhinagar-Sarkhej Highway near Ahmedabad, would be laid by Union home minister L K Advani here on Wednesday.
Claimed to be the largest science city project in India and a world landmark, it is being set up with the objective of creating scientific temper and enhancing community interest in science and technology.
The model of this science city has been prepared by Tata Consultancy Services, in consultation with scientist Jayant Narlikar, National Council of Science Museums
