The hearing in the multi-crore JMM MPs bribery case was yesterday adjourned in the trial court till Septemeber 16 as the matter was being argued in the Delhi High Court.
Special judge Ajit Bharihoke who had framed charges against 20 persons including the former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao adjourned the matter, following the submission of defence counsel that it would take several days for conclusion of arguments in the high court.
The accused have challenged framing of the charges by the trial judge in the high court.
The high court had stayed the proceediings in the trial court till final disposal of the matter by it.
