The outcome of the Lok Sabha polls was today hailed as a "vote for stability" by leading NRI industrialist Lord Swraj Paul.
Reacting to the UPA's win, the Labour peer said the numbers showed that the people of India wanted a stable and secular government.
"It is a vote for stability, for reforms and secularism. I congratulate Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for this success," he said.
