Rajasthan minister of state for irrigation Puja Lal yesterday announced his resignation from the post and demanded replacement of Chief Minister Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, for the all-round development of the state.
Announcing his resignation at a press conference here, Lal blamed Shekhawat for all ill and shady treatment meted out to the tribal, Scheduled Castes, backwards, farmers and minorities of the state and said that only a dedicated, honest man could be able to do justice for all in the state.
Lal said that he had posted his resignation, as the Chief Minister is currently out of the country.
In his resignation letter, Lal said, After serving the state for more than two years under your leadership, I came to the conclusion that upliftment of tribals, backwards, minorities and other weaker sections was not possible.
