Mumbai local train service disrupted; commuters block tracks

Train services on the suburban line of Western Railways was disrupted this morning after some commuters blocked tracks demanding more trains.

Services on the slow line were hit after commuters refused to allow trains to operate, demanding more up and down locals from Borivali and Churchgate, railway police said.

Trains were disrupted from 0920 hours and people are still being cleared from the tracks, they said.
    
However, services on the fast line were unaffected.
