The Nagpur inland container depot (ICD) of the Container Corporation of India Ltd (Concor) remained the fastest-growing among the 48 ICDs in the country, registering a 48 per cent growth in business in the nine months ended December 2002.

The ICDs, also known as dry ports, have been set up by Concor to service the needs of exporters and importers in the hinterland. Started on January 7, 1997, the Nagpur ICD took on a growth trajectory from the very first year, leaving behind several ICDs in terms of growth and business.
