The Commission will use social media platforms like facebook, twitter, youtube, slide share flickr and google plus for this purpose.
"We have realized that we need not only to respond to the criticisms but also propagate our approach to various issues mainly to the younger generation because it is this generation that usually does not read newspapers but are concerned about the happening in the country and also issues surrounding it, so social media is perfect platform," Planning Commission deputy chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia told reporters.
He said all the members of the Commission who are experts in various sectors will also join the deputy chairman in responding to the various queries posted on twitter.
